The World Health Organization says that we are facing an “unprecedented outbreak”, and they are basing that assessment on the official numbers that we have been given so far. But what if those numbers are not accurate and this outbreak is actually much, much worse than we have been led to believe? According to the Chinese government, there are now 9,692 confirmed coronavirus cases in China, and the official death toll has risen to 213. But the Wall Street Journal has already documented the fact that the death toll is being artificially suppressed. As I discussed the other day, many of those that have died are being categorized as dying from “severe pneumonia” so that they won’t count as coronavirus deaths. Meanwhile, it is becoming exceedingly clear that the number of confirmed cases is also much lower than it should be. Large numbers of victims are being classified as “suspected cases” even after it is quite obvious that they have the virus. (Read More…)
The Pacific Ocean Is Becoming so Acidic That it Dissolves Crab Shells and Destroys Tiny Scales on Sharks’ Skin

The Pacific Ocean is becoming so acidic it is starting to dissolve the shells of a key species of crab, the Dungeness crab.
Moreover, the acidic water damages and destroys the tiny scales on sharks’ skin, diminishing the shark ability to swim and hunt, thus wreaking havoc on the already-fragile ecosystems in which they live.
Australians Warned to Prepare for Extreme Heatwave This Weekend… And That’s Bad News For Firefighters!

A deep over South Australia (SA) is expected to move East during both Friday and Saturday into the Eastern States.
While this system is expected to bring heavy rains and powerful storms, it will also fuel widespread extreme heat across New South Wales (NSW), the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), Victoria (VIC) and Tasmania (TAS) and thus increase fire dangers.
Temperatures above 40 deg C, (104 deg F) and strong winds are causing the worst bushfire in 20 years south of Australia’s capital Canberra: Authorities have declared a state of emergency
We began January 2020 with an Australian wildfire crisis and we are going to end the month with another one. Authorities of the Australian Capital Territory, (ATC) have declared a state of emergency as the worst bushfire in 20 years is devastating areas south of the nation’s capital Canberra.
The main blaze, in the territory’s south, is burning over more than 18,500 hectares.
Residents in suburbs of Canberra have been urged to "remain alert" for potential evacuations.
"The ACT is now facing the worst bushfire threat since the devastating fires of 2003," Chief Minister Andrew Barr told reporters on Friday.
"There’s now no higher priority for the ACT government at this time than the bushfire threat." Mr Barr warned the fires "may become uncontrollable" as temperatures climbed to 40C and were fuelled by strong winds.
He said the worst blaze was just south of the district of Tuggeranong, a 20-minute drive south of Parliament House in Canberra. BBC
Though people have more money, better health care, better health, better housing and more education, and live longer than at any time in history, they — especially young people — are unhappier than at any time since data collection began. Why has this happened?
Billions of locusts are eating everything in sight in east Africa right now, and every single day many more farms are being completely wiped out. If extreme measures are not implemented immediately, authorities are claiming that this locust plague could literally get "500 times" worse in a few months.
Pilots and flight attendants demand flights to China stop as virus fear mount worldwide
Jan 31, 2020 | 0 |
(Reuters) – Pilots and flight attendants are demanding airlines stop flights to China as health officials declare a global emergency over the rapidly spreading coronavirus, with American Airlines’ pilots filing a lawsuit seeking an immediate halt. China has reported nearly 10,000 cases and 213 deaths, but the virus has spread to 18 countries often biplane passengers.
The Allied Pilots Association (APA), which represents American Airlines pilots, cited “serious, and in many ways still unknown, health threats posed by the coronavirus” in a lawsuit filed in Texas, where the airline is based. American said it was taking precautions against the virus but had no immediate comment on the lawsuit. On Wednesday it announced flight cancellations from Los Angeles to Beijing and Shanghai starting next month but is continuing flights from Dallas.
APA President Eric Ferguson urged pilots assigned to U.S.-China flights to decline the assignment. In a statement, the American Airlines’ flight attendants union said they supported the pilots’ lawsuit and called on the company and the U.S. government to “err on the side of caution and halt all flights to and from China.” Pilots at United Airlines, the largest U.S. airline to China, concerned for their safety will be allowed to drop their trip without pay, according to a Wednesday memo from their union to members.
Cross-dressing LGBT activist to appear on ‘Sesame Street’
Jan 31, 2020 | 0 |
OPINION (Lifesite News) – Bert and Ernie may not be a same-sex couple, but the long-running children’s franchise Sesame Street is about to get an infusion of LGBT “vibes” with an upcoming guest appearance by actor and LGBT activist Billy Porter. Porter, best known as Pray Tell in the FX’s LGBT ballroom drama Pose and for wearing extravagant dresses, will appear during the 51st season of the beloved children’s show, according to Sesame Street’s official Facebook page.
“Billy Porter bringing those fierce vibes to Sesame Street,” the post declares, accompanied by photos of Porter on the classic set, wearing a tuxedo gown. Comments on the post were largely positive, though some readers expressed concern. “That is pushing [too] much at little children, it makes no sense, kids have [too] much on their little plates as it is,” one said.
“Why add more?” “Sesame Street is for children. And diversity should be taught at a child-appropriate level. A man in a dress is not child appropriate, in fact, it can be confusing,” another argued. “While striving to teach to ‘be yourself’ you’re teaching boys who are masculine that it’s not ok for them to be masculine.
Exponential Growth Rate: The Number Of Confirmed Coronavirus Cases Is 236 Times Higher Than It Was 2 Weeks Ago
What is our world going to look like in a few months if the number of coronavirus cases continues to grow at this rate? On January 17th, there were 41 confirmed cases, and now there are 9,692 in China alone. That means that the number of confirmed cases is 236 times larger than it was just 2 weeks ago. I don’t expect the number of cases to be another 236 times larger two weeks from now, but even if the number of cases simply doubles each week, hundreds of millions of people will eventually get this virus. And that would mean that millions upon millions of people would end up dead. Let us pray that such a scenario does not materialize, but at this point it has become exceedingly clear that we are dealing with a very serious health crisis. (Read More…)

Hypersonic weapons have been the big talk at the Pentagon of late. Early this week US defense officials unveiled that America’s classified hypersonics program will undergo a “very aggressive” expansion over the course of the next year. This is to include expanded testing, including at least "four initial flight tests of prototypes for glide bombs that can fly five times the speed of sound and maneuver en route," according Bloomberg.

Outrage In Iowa As Convicted Child Rapist Will Be Released From Prison Because He Has Decided To Undergo Gender Reassignment Surgery
The Storm Lake Times reported in November that Joseph Matthew Smith, 23, a former Midwest Christian Services (MCS) student, convicted of as many as 15 sex crimes against victims whose ages ranged from 1 to 13 years, was sentenced to prison in December 2015. On January 16, the Times reported a spokesman from the Iowa attorney general’s office said they are “no longer seeking” Smith’s commitment because “an offender’s hormone levels are an important part of substantiating an offender’s likelihood of recidivism.” “We don’t believe we have evidence sufficient to prove Josie Smith has a significant chance of reoffending,” spokesman Lynn Hicks said.

This coronavirus outbreak continues to grow at an exponential rate. In fact, the number of cases is 14 times larger than it was just one week ago. Needless to say, if the number of cases continues to escalate at this pace, we are going to have a horrifying global pandemic of epic proportions on our hands very rapidly. But hopefully that won’t happen. Hopefully the measures that global authorities have taken to slow the spread of the virus will work. But we are definitely in a race against time, and if they don’t get this outbreak under control shortly we could soon be facing a worst case scenario. (Read More…)

Cold wave grips northern Saudi Arabia, meteorologists fear strongest cold snap ever
Parts of Saudi Arabia are shivering through a strong cold snap with chilly winds particularly in the northern regions.
The cold wave started a few days ago and is forecast to go on for two weeks further, weather expert Muad Al-Ahmadi told Al Arabiya.
"The first wave started last Tuesday [January 21], and its climax was on Wednesday and Thursday, and that ended on Friday, while the second wave, which is the strongest and hardest, began Saturday, and would continue till midweek," he said, urging people to take precaution and safety measures.
CHINA CORONAVIRUS CHAOS: The Pestilence Engulfing China Is Only The Beginning And Something Much Worse Is Coming
In this week’s Prophecy Update with Tom Hughes, we look at the new Chinese Coronavirus outbreak and the soon coming end of antibiotics. What does the Bible say about pestilence in the end times? Let’s find out!
“I’m one of millions of people around the world that are convinced that Jesus of Nazareth was who He said He was. I’m confident that the evidence proves beyond reasonable doubt that He lived, was crucified, and resurrected from the grave, offering humanity its only hope of escaping an eternity of facing God’s righteous judgment against sin. If we were wrong about that (we’re not), it’s still obvious to anyone that our belief is genuine. How? It changes the way we live our lives.”

Catastrophe looms as experts fear China waited too long to quarantine Coronavirus: “This time I’m scared”
Thursday, January 30, 2020 by: JD Heyes 520Views
(Natural News) Fears of a deadly global pandemic of the kind not seen since Medieval times are quickly rising as the Coronavirus, which originated in Wuhan, China, in the central region of the country, spreads.
In fact, experts are already concerned that Chinese authorities — perhaps as a way to conceal the severity and scope of the virus in order to quell public anxieties and keep order — moved too slowly to quarantine the bug.
As reported by Agence France Presse, the virus has already managed to go global, reaching other parts of Asia, Europe, and the Western Hemisphere. On Sunday, USA Today reported that five cases had turned up in the United States.
World Health Organization voices ‘grave concern’ about person-to-person spread of Coronavirus..
Jan 29, 2020 | 0 |
(AP) — World health officials expressed “great concern” Wednesday that a dangerous new virus is starting to spread between people outside of China, a troubling development as China and the world frantically work to contain the outbreak. For a second day, the number of infections grew dramatically. The new virus has now infected more people in China than were sickened there during the 2002-2003 SARS outbreak.
On Wednesday, the number of cases jumped to 5,974, surpassing the 5,327 people diagnosed with SARS. The death toll, which rose to 170 on Wednesday, is still less than half the number who died in China from SARS, or severe acute respiratory syndrome.
Scientists say there are many questions to be answered about the new virus, including just how easily it spreads and how severe it is. In a report published Wednesday, Chinese researchers suggested that person-to-person spread among close contacts occurred as early as mid-December. Based on the first 425 confirmed cases, the researchers estimate that each infection led to 2.2 others on average. That’s a bit more than ordinary flu but far less than some other respiratory diseases such as whooping cough and tuberculosis. The rate for SARS, a cousin to this new virus, was estimated to be 3
Up to this point, the coronavirus outbreak has been primarily confined to China. Yes, there have been isolated cases all over the globe, and that has mostly been from people flying from China back to their home countries. But overall, the vast majority of the confirmed cases have been in urban areas inside China. However, that could potentially now be changing. Alarming reports are starting to come in from all across the world, and the number of “potential cases” in the United States is definitely quite startling. As you will see below, all testing for the coronavirus is currently being done at the CDC, and this is really slowing things down. So for the moment local officials all over the nation have “suspected cases” that they are monitoring, but they can’t confirm anything officially until they hear back from the CDC. (Read More…)
