Whales have been dropping like flies in the Gulf of Alaska. Approximately nine whale carcasses were sited in late May and early June. Now, fisherman have spotted five more decomposing whales, a fin whale and four humpbacks, to add to the death toll.
The first two whale deaths reported in May sparked a flurry of attention from government agencies, including the Marine Mammal Stranding Network, Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation, NOAA, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.

A bizarre syndrome that makes heavy cannabis users violently ill and leads them to take frequent hot baths to ease the pain has been reported by doctors.
Symptoms of the illness include severe stomach pain, nausea and vomiting – and bathing in very hot water up to five times a day for relief.
At least two cases of the syndrome which involve multiple visits to accident and emergency have been reported in the UK and worldwide the conditions is ‘increasing acutely’.
But doctors in the UK warn that the failure to recognise CHS is likely to be draining hospital resources as it is being wrongly diagnosed.

Bolstered by the sad decision of the U.S. Supreme Court that legalized homosexual “marriage”, secular progressives are pressing their temporary advantage, doing all they can to suppress and silence the voices of Christian churches and ministries. They’ve found an ally in the court system and an opponent (Christians) who seem apathetic as a whole. Are […]

Following Monday’s historic stock market downturn, many politicians and so-called economic experts rushed to the microphones to explain why the market crashed and to propose "solutions" to our economic woes. Not surprisingly, most of those commenting not only failed to give the right answers, they failed to ask the right questions. Many blamed the crash […]

PORTLAND, Ore. (Christian Examiner) — An evangelical seminary professor is calling The Shack the "greatest deception foisted on the church in the last 200 years" and urging Christian leaders to speak out against it ahead of its release as a movie.
James B. DeYoung, professor of New Testament language and literature at Western Seminary in Portland, Ore., says controversy over the 2007 bestselling book by William Paul Young will resurface when the film – which began shooting in June – is released.
The Shack, a New York Times Best Seller has sold 25 million book copies and was printed in 41 languages.
A film release date has not been set.
Though the author, like others uses fiction "as a servant" of theology, the allegorical book has an unbiblical view of God, DeYoung said, and clearly affirms universalism – that is, that all people will be saved.
When you start to see increased propaganda about banning cash, you know the status quo is very scared and things are getting very serious. You’ve been warned. From the FT: “The fact that people treat cash as the go-to safe asset when banks are teetering is heavy with historical irony. Paper money was once the symbol of monetary irresponsibility. But even as individuals have taken recent crises as reasons to stock up on banknotes, authorities would do well to consider the arguments for phasing out their use as another “barbarous relic”, the moniker Keynes gave to gold.
New research from the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics suggests that if panspermia really is the transportation system that spreads life in the universe, we might be able to spot it. Not only that, but it would that life itself spreads similar to models of an epidemic outbreak. Panspermia is the theory that the building blocks for life – or even primitive life itself – arrived on planets from comets, asteroids, or other agents and took root on a planet like Earth.

The entire universe could be swallowed up at ANY second after a brain-warpingly complex machine that can make black holes was switched BACK on at DOUBLE its previous power. The Large Hadron Collider (LHC), which is searching for bizarre parallel universes existing outside ours in other dimensions, is back up and running following a number of false starts. Alarmist critics, who opposed the first less-powerful experiments, fear the price of the quest for higher knowledge could be triggering the end of ours, if something goes wrong with the £3.7billion kit.
According to the celebrated physicist, the hole “would need to be large and if it was rotating it might have a passage to another universe.” “The existence of alternative histories with black holes suggests this [passage] might be possible,” Hawking said at a public lecture in Stockholm, as cited in the blog of the Swedish KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Black holes are not “the eternal prisons they were once thought,” said the scientist, adding that “things can get out of a black hole both on the outside and possibly come out in another universe.”
Unmistakable divine messages can be tracked through history accompanying major world events. As US lawmakers deliberate the future of the nuclear agreement with Iran, American leaders should take a hint from history and understand the divine implications of their decisions. While the heavenly warning are clearer to some than others, a quick look at the timeline of the Israeli-Palestinian peace process and the accompanying natural disasters makes claims of coincidence lose their credibility. October 30, 1991: US President George Bush, Sr. opened the Madrid Conference with an expectation that Israel would trade “Land for Peace”. As the conference progressed, what was later called the “Perfect Storm” developed…
